Family Fall Outfits
Find items that are neutral in color. Think greens, browns, maroon, black, grey, navy, cream, browns and mustards. I recommend using clothing items that express the individual personalities of each participant. There is nothing worse than trying to act happy while you are miserably uncomfortable. If you have a girl who hates dresses, help them pick a cute pair of jeans or leggings and a sweater that will match the family. Same applies for a boy, even hoodies are fine. I am here to capture your family as they are. To have a positive heirloom photo, instead of a memory of a miserable experience.
Family Holiday Outfits
Are you thinking about that holiday photo to put on your card but not sure what looks right? Many people try and wear the same outfits, such as boys all wear the same and girls all wear the same. Honestly though, when it comes to photography it just doesn't photograph well. Find articles of clothing that compliment each other but also give contrast to the photo. Reds, Whites, Blues, Greens are great for Christmas Styles. Blues, creams, white, mustards, black and greys are perfect for Hannukah and New Years. Lastly remember to make this a fun experience without stress. The more fun you can have, I promise the better the photos.
